Banking Supervision and Financial Stability
Page Content In view of the role of central banks in the establishment of sound and well-managed banking institutions, including the responsibilities for regulation and supervision, the CCBG established the SADC Subcommittee of Banking Supervisors (SSBS) to deal with the supervision of banks in the SADC region. A SSBS Steering Committee was created to implement and organise the activities of the SSBS. The SSBS is chaired by the Bank of Mauritius.
